Could FIFA be making biased choices about funding, and even more?

After so much practice, teamwork and hard work, the US women's team won the World Cup!!!! Which is great-- especially considering it is Abby Wambach's last year!!  Following their victory,  there have been parades, parties and presents from people all around America (including the president!)There present from FIFA?

2 MILLION  dollars!!! That's quite the reward! Atleast, pretty pleasing until you learn that the Men's US team was presented with $8,000,000 over the course of two winning games. That means that each winning game they were given 4 million dollars-- that's double the annuity the Women's US team gained! The Women's team had longer hours of practice and in total, won about 6 games in order to win the cup. They should be getting 3 times more than the men's team, considering that they won 3 times as many games as them! This is outrageous- Are we still in a gender discriminatory world, here in the 21st century? Are we going to simply knock down the progress we have been building for so long by holding our tongues when it is clear that the two sexes are not treated alike? While this may seem like only a pint sized sign of gender discrimination to some of you, we can assure you that there are many more statistics and biased opinions out there from FIFA. To check out a news website that sheds light on some of their discriminative opinions, check out the link below.
